Benjamin is responsible for the Oxford Analytica Daily Brief’s regional coverage of Greater China, Japan and the Koreas, and international coverage of the space industry and space policy.
He holds an MPhil in Chinese Studies from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Japanese Studies from the University of Sheffield. He has done fieldwork and language study at Peking University in Beijing and at Doshisha University in Kyoto. Benjamin joined Oxford Analytica in 2011, having previously worked for a local government in Japan, the British Consulate-General in Hong Kong and the UK National Audit Office in London.
His articles have appeared in the South China Morning Post and the China Economic Review.
