Joanna joined Oxford Analytica as a Senior Associate in July 2025. She specialises in Africa and the Middle East.
Previously, she spent three years with the United Nations in Entebbe, Uganda, supporting Peacekeeping and Special Political Missions across the African continent in public administration and logistics. She also worked for the UN Migration Agency in Geneva and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague.
She holds an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from St Antony’s College, Oxford, a MSc in Global Migration from University College London and a BA in International Relations from King’s College London.
She is bilingual in French and has varying levels of proficiency in Turkish, Arabic and Spanish.
