Automotive sector: Manufacturing locations in Central and Eastern Europe

Oxford Analytica advised a leading global automotive manufacturer in developing a location strategy for new manufacturing capacity. The multinational was seeking a competitive and stable location for investing in new production capacity intended to serve export markets. We produced an in-depth comparative analysis of six countries in terms of their suitability for hosting the plant. The analysis considered a wide range of factors including costs, infrastructure, political and economic stability, and the general business environment.

Food and beverage sector: Diversifying supplies

We analysed ten countries for their long-term potential as suppliers of key ingredients. To facilitate this assessment, Oxford Analytica designed an analytical framework to measure the market attractiveness and degree of risk associated with doing business in each country. The framework focused on four dimensions (Infrastructure, Export Potential, Political Reliability and Environmental Sustainability) and used the input of over 20 agriculture, economics and environmental sustainability experts.
