Oxford Analytica is delighted to support The Riga Conference 2021 which will convene on October 15 and 16, 2021 in Riga, Latvia. The highly awaited regional security conference is organised jointly by the Latvian Transatlantic Organisation, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia.
Annually, since 2006, the conference has brought together political, academic, and business leaders from both sides of the Atlantic to engage in lively dialogue to explore emerging global issues and address mutual challenges. At this year’s conference, challenges and future of NATO, data as a frontier to power, challenges from Russia, the return of the US to global order, recent developments in Eastern Partnership countries, and many more topics are to be discussed and analysed. This year the conference is organised in a hybrid format – with a limited number of participants in person and a wider audience online.
Nick Redman, our Editor in Chief and Director of Analysis is joining the conference’s plenary session to discuss The Green Deal Spillover Effect on October 15. The European Green deal is primarily an initiative that puts sustainability and durability at the forefront of EU policies and this discussion aims to provide insight into the reach of the Green Deal and its effects on a global scale.
