Committee for Economic Development 2017 Fall Policy Conference

The Committee for Economic Development (CED) was founded in 1942 during the Second World War by a group of business leaders who were concerned about the future of the global economy.

Today, CED continues to have an impact through its trusted research and advocacy. Comprised of the nation’s leading business executives, CED lends its voice and expertise to pressing economic and educational issues.

Our value

Each year CED holds a Spring and a Fall Policy Conference for which we are delighted to provide a briefing book.

For the 2017 Fall Policy Conference, which takes place on 15 November in Washington DC, our briefing book will be focusing on some of the major issues raised in the Conference agenda. As the CED continues to play a significant role in supporting policy-makers at home and abroad by delivering “well-researched analysis and reasoned solutions to our nation’s most critical issues”, it is hoped this briefing book will provide a better understanding of some of the issues and challenges the CED seeks to address.

We are also pleased to provide delegates of the Fall Policy Conference with two weeks' complimentary access to the Oxford Analytica Daily Brief
