Caty BattenAdvisor, The Oxford Analytica Foundation
Caty joined the Oxford Analytica Foundation Team in September 2018 and supports our strategic engagement with global philanthropists, corporations and social investors who wish to make a positive impact on the social, economic and environmental sustainability of our world.
Caty is a graduate from the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership and has a degree in Geography and French Science from the University of St Andrews. She has a unique understanding of complex international development issues thanks to her roles with international non-governmental organisations like VSO and Oxfam. She is passionate about environmental conservation and brought her experience and love for nature together in Mozambique where she tackled the critical balance between humans and nature. Caty uses her capacity to influence positive change to facilitate the engagement of strategic philanthropic partnerships. She is inspired to work towards a just, sustainable world and believes that impartial analysis through Oxford Analytica’s global network can truly empower responsible and impactful investment decision making.
Caty’s diverse employment background includes working in media production, youth entrepreneurship, international development and marine conservation. Caty has lived and worked in Europe, New Zealand and East Africa.
