Katerina FytatziSenior Analyst, Political Risk/International Politics/North Africa
A senior political risk analyst for Oxford Analytica, Katerina Fytatzi has a regional focus on North Africa plus a wider remit in international politics, taking in themes such as terrorism, crime and cyber security.
Katerina manages Oxford Analytica’s input for a joint project with global insurance broker Willis (‘VAPOR’), which allows global companies to assess the financial impact of their political risk exposure. Previously, she managed the Global Risk Monitor, which tracks the main global macro-economic and geopolitical risks in the year ahead.
Before joining Oxford Analytica, Katerina worked at a niche security risk management firm, where she assessed global security threats and the impact of political developments in emerging conflict environments and fragile states, and at the Consulate General of Greece in Boston. She holds an MA from the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, and a BA from Boston University. She is fluent in English and Greek, and speaks basic French.
