Katerina FytatziSenior Analyst, Political Risk/International Politics/North Africa
A senior political risk analyst for Oxford Analytica, Katerina Fytatzi has a regional focus on North Africa and the Sahel plus a wider remit in global health and security, including the COVID-19 pandemic and terrorism.
Previously, she covered themes such as international cybersecurity, disinformation and gender issues. She also managed Oxford Analytica’s input for a joint project with global insurance broker Willis Towers Watson (‘VAPOR’), which allows global companies to assess the financial impact of their political risk exposure.
Before joining Oxford Analytica, Katerina worked at a niche security risk management firm, where she assessed global security threats and the impact of political developments in emerging conflict environments and fragile states, and at the Consulate General of Greece in Boston. She holds an MA from the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, and a BA from Boston University. She is fluent in English and Greek.
