Sales Development Representative, Americas

Oxford Analytica is seeking to appoint an Sales Development Representative to its Business Development Team. The successful candidate will partner with the Head of Commercial Strategy, Americas to develop account targeting strategy to bring in new clients for Oxford Analytica.

About the position

Highly creative and intelligent, our Sales Development Representatives identify the value add of products to prospective organisations through effective listening and market research. This sales development representative will tactfully leverage all manners of communication to get our platform in front of senior executives in strategy, security, risk management, and marketing functions. This SDR will partner with the Head of Commercial Strategy, Americas to develop account targeting strategy to bring in new clients for Oxford Analytica.

Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, strong verbal and written communications skills, and, ideally, a penchant for and interest in international affairs.

What to expect in this position

  • Perform both cold and warm outreach to potential clients
  • Develop industry-specific policy expertise to take a consultative approach when communicating with senior-level executives
  • Receive mentorship from senior associates, strategists and enterprise directors
  • Leverage internal marketing materials to engage target executives/organizations
  • Strategically plan account penetration
  • Leverage Sales Enablement tools (like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, etc) to manage your engagements with target prospects
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target personas and their needs
  • Actively and regularly attend industry events
  • Develop industry-specific policy expertise
  • Actively and regularly attend industry events

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A consistent record of surpassing personal and organizational goals
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A relentless drive to succeed
  • 1+ years in business development ideally preferred
  • Academic background in international relations or similar
  • Spanish language skills a bonus
