What to expect

You will:

  • Create insightful charts and maps for our flagship publication, the Oxford Analytica Daily Brief
  • Work with the experts of the Daily Brief team to support the conception and design of our unique infographics series 
  • Increase the visual impact of Oxford Analytica’s consultancy work through charts, maps and diagrams
  • Design long-form reports and publications, managing the process from initial development stages to print and post-print
  • Create engaging marketing materials to help attract potential clients

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • The technical ability to use design software and produce polished results
  • Strong communication skills, able to express and present ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Good ideas and the know-how to understand and convey complex concepts to a corporate audience.  
  • Enthusiasm for delivering the best possible result.
  • The ability to work independently, pro-actively and be self-motivated
  • Good organisational skills so as to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with flexibility about shifting priorities and ability to work towards tight deadlines 

What sets you apart:

  • Candidates should have a demonstrable track record of working in a professional environment
  • You should be a confident user of Adobe Illustrator and other design tools
  • Familiarity with Excel and other office-based software is desirable
  • Experience of data visualisation – from Excel charts to full visualisation packages would be an advantage
  • Design qualifications are preferred but not essential

The position is based in the United Kingdom. Only applicants that are legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom will be considered. Flexible home-working conditions may be discussed.
