Advisory Associate / Junior Associate
Oxford Analytica is seeking to appoint an Associate or a Junior Associate to its Advisory Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the firm’s global client base with bespoke, rigorous, actionable, market and policy-oriented research on geopolitical and macroeconomic trends.
The successful candidate will undertake original, forward-looking analysis and contribute to and manage projects that help clients assess the risk implications of global developments on their commercial and institutional interests. The role also involves client interaction, including contributing to proposal writing and related business development activities.
The successful applicant must have an excellent grasp of international politics and economics, and a solid understanding of how that applies to business and public sector decision makers. Candidates must be able to demonstrate qualitative and quantitative research skills, strong analytical capabilities, excellent written and spoken English, and the ability to work on a wide range of projects.
Candidates must have at least two years of relevant work experience, including completing political and economic research assignments as well as the following:
- Graduate qualifications in political science, economics, international relations or a related field.
- A professional background in economics, international affairs or geopolitics.
- Experience in project management and/or business development, especially in preparing proposals.
The position is based in Oxford, United Kingdom. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
