The Risk has increased of military conflict in North Korea, after Pyongyang said it might expel South Koreans working in North Korea at Mount Kumgang. Relations between Pyongyang and Seoul are deteriorating due to fallout from the death of a South Korean tourist at Mount Kumgang.
