KIEP: The 20th Korea-Latin America Business Forum

Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), a government-funded research institute, was established in 1989 and since then has aimed to be a regional hub for international economic policy research, and has served as a warehouse of information on Korea’s international economic policies for nearly 30 years.

The 20th Korea-Latin America Business Forum, organized by KIEP, Korea Council on Latin America and the Caribbean (KCLAC) and Korea International Trade Association (KITA) will be held on October 14th, 2016.  This forum has been held annually with the aim of providing insight to the rapidly changing region of Latin America.

Our value

We are delighted that Philip Paterson, Latin America Analyst at Oxford Analytica, has been invited to speak in a panel session titled 'Business Environment in Latin America', speaking specifically on the political trends in Latin America after the raw materials boom.  We have also prepared a briefing book with selected analysis from the Daily Brief, covering a range of countries and themes in the region which is available to download below.
