European Insurance Forum 2016
The European Insurance Forum is run by the Dublin International Insurance & Management Association (DIMA), an industry association representing international insurance and reinsurance business in Ireland with 58 member companies representing about 200 re/insurance entities and captives spanning across all aspects of re/insurance risk business.
The EIF2016 conference theme is “The Road To Risk Revolution”, to mark the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising. The programme will look forward rather than back and focus on the resources available and those required to revolutionise how the future risk landscape should be dealt with. The conference will cover international economics, climate and environmental risks, regulation and technology.
We are delighted that Oxford Analytica’s Director of Analysis, Paul Maidment, has been invited to be a panelist on the conference's opening session, titled 'Recasting the Industry.' Paul will be providing a geopolitical overview looking at issues such as the Chinese economy, the emergence of Chinese sponsored alternatives for the World Bank, IMF etc, multi-polar spheres of influence, the role of emerging markets in the global economy and the risk of Brexit.
