Oxford Analytica undertook a comparative analysis of privatisation experiences in five countries for the UK Department of International Development and the European Commission. The project included case studies of Nigeria, Romania, Russia, Spain and Zambia.
The case studies examined the approaches and processes applied in each country, and assessed their impact in terms of performance, productivity, competition, labour markets, investment, and public finances. The case studies were synthesised and analysed by our team of experts, who then drew out lessons and recommendations from the various successes and failures.
