Oxford Analytica reviewed the development, institutional set-up, and future prospects of the capital markets of the largest new EU member states. The objective of the study was to assess the degree of institutional convergence between Central European and West European markets in terms of legislation, regulatory practices, and market institutions. The project drew on comprehensive on-site research in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia.
