The 25th Oxford Analytica International Conference coincided with the US financial crisis which has already changed the landscape of investment banking and whose resolution, when it happens, promises even bigger upheavals in finance and beyond.
Following the style of the Oxford tutorial, participants attended a series of seminars in which leading scholar experts provided intensive briefings on each major region of the world, as well as topics of interest such as alternative energy, the ‘science of happiness’ and social networking.
The Conference provided an opportunity for key decision makers to discuss the Global Outlook for 2009 and understand the risks ahead during the next twelve months.
