Improvements to our Daily Brief emails
We improved the look and feel of the Daily Brief as delivered on our website back in April. Earlier in the year we delivered a mobile version of the Daily Brief.
Now we have taken a fresh look at the emails we deliver and improved them.
What are we changing?
If you currently get an email from us whose subject line is something like "Oxford Analytica Executive Summary", this is the only format that is changing now.
We'll be improving our other email formats, such as saved search alerts in due course.
We're changing and simplifying the subject lines of the emails - typically , the subject line will simply say "Asia Pacific Daily Brief" - so look out for different subject lines.
We're also re-organising, dividing each email into sections. It differs depending on which editions you receive, but you should find it easier to scan and to read.
What are the benefits?
Ease of use and clarity
The new email format is easier to read, and it's clearer where the links take you.
More flexible
The emails display and print better on a wider range of email clients and devices.
Mobile
When you click on a link on your Blackberry, iPhone or similar, you will be taken to the mobile website to read the analysis. You can still select the full website if you want.*
"Login-less links" (from next month)
When clicking on an email link you will no longer be asked to login before reading that piece of analysis on our website (though you will have to login to read more than that).ǂ
Better notification
We'll notify you more clearly of the events and videos you are entitled to attend or watch as part of your subscription.
What we are not changing?
We've made sure to keep the best parts of our email service.
Regional editions
Our full range of regional editions continues to be available.
Choice of formats
You can still choose between two formats, "Full" and "Judgement." The Judgement highlights our judgement calls, and most clients tend to prefer it - it's shorter. The Full version gives the background to a particular event or issue.
Highly personalised saved search alerts
We're still offering the ability to choose precisely what topics and countries you hear about from us. Any search you can do on our website can be turned into a saved search alert.
Full text emails
You can choose to receive full text by email, making sure you can still access our material even when you are unable to reach the web.

* Some clients who have special login arrangements will not be able to use the mobile access features.
ǂ This feature will be introduced gradually over the next few months. Some clients who have special login arrangements will not be able to use this feature. Each email link gives access only to one analysis. If the link has been used a few times, or is outdated, or if you wish to continue to browse the website, you will be asked to login if you don't have remember me selected.
